Prayer of Saftey

Lord I ask you now to fortify these walls with your presence, sanctify these floors with your love. Open the flood gates of Heaven and pour out your spirit from above. Praise goes to you for all the things you've done. Praise goes forth to a God whose watched over all of us. We continue to serve you and abide by your word. We continue to adore you and always put you first. Tear down these walls we put up to keep the hurt out. And heal all of our inner most being and let you love spew out. Amen.

Seeing the Good, Being the Good

In a world that is filled with controversy, pain, and hate I try to see the good in things. But I realize it's not just about seeing the good in things, it's about being the good as well. When things around you seem hopeless and anger is in the air be the one that calms it. When the spirit is failing and hope seems lost be the peace that breaks the storm. Of course you can't do this on your own. It isn't actually you on your own. It is by letting God be the center of your world and letting his peace, and his spirit walk you through the tough times in life that you can come from a place of calm and peace and say enough, peace be still. 

God Brings Only Good

Going through any kind of hardship tests your faith. Some people blame God, some people think God is responsible for bringing on hardships in our lives. Yet God doesn't bring anything bad on us. When we are going through hard times we must remember that we are humans, humans sin, humans are born, grow, and die. Life can be good and it can be hard but nothing bad ever comes from God. We must remember that because of sin comes death and since man's first sin consequences followed. Those consequences being death. So we must remember that God brings only good things to us and in trials he can help us through and make something beautiful out of something bad. For God only brings good.

Trying

Trying

Trying hard to hold it together trying not to lose my way.

Trying to be a help not a bother trying to make no mistakes.

Just want to be useful and not a burden to anyone.

Just want to succeed in something so that they can say hey yeah she’s the one to go to.

Instead of saying oh poor her she’s suffering an illness that’s eating away at her.

I’m still trying to be useful, not to be a burden to anyone.

No one seems to get it, I’m in a boat and there’s a leak and now my boats sunk.

Oh My Soul

A poem about life and death, wrote after someone I knew died.

Oh my soul you’re here and then you’re gone.

Rocking to and fro like the wind in a storm.

My soul what is that I see is it our destinies?

Like the wind we come and we go we live and we die oh my soul.

Be ready for tomorrow brings something new we’ve not seen.

Don’t dampen the fields of creativity; don’t let the evil one in not even for a peek.

For when you cross that threshold you face evils untold.

No one can know there time to leave this earth, so we live and we die.

But if we are very wise we will live through the forceful tides.

We will live a life that is served to our Lord and a glory that will be told.

For when that day shall come in you, prepare your heart you never know how soon.

A man was here then he was gone no traces left of that one.

Oh my soul what do I seek, maybe peace inside of me.

For this I will let God be my peace.

Life is Hard, But God is Strong

Life is extremely hard especially if you deal with any kind of disease. Well apparently there are people who think I'm fine, they think that the disease isn't real enough to bother them. Well that is just backward thinking. Just because I'm young doesn't mean I don't know pain. I've already had a death bed experience, I've been diagnosed with a rare genetic blood disease that affects both body and mind. And now I have even other problem that I deal with. But when I'm feeling the most hurt, the most angry, the most outrage, that's when I know it's time to turn it over to God. Because God is stronger than all them combined and God can help me just with his spirit by being strong for me. When I am weak he is strong. God is all the help I need to get through this fight.  The point is I just give it to God and he helps calm me down. God is the reason for everything in my life, the reason I live, the reason I'm not completely insane. God's words are ever with me and I follow the ten commandants with all my heart. I don't need to be concerned with what this world thinks of me, I need to be concerned with what God thinks of me. After all his opinion is all that matters anyways.
