Which Acid Reflux Med Works?

So what's the best heratburn medicine?

Well my mom takes protonix. I don't really like it, it helped me, but not 100% help, like I still had heartburn.

Zantac- Ugh, don't get me started on this one, I can't stand it, it doesn't take away the heartburn! I mean I guess it helps some but I still get heartburn with it, not my fave.

Pepcid AC- Don't know, not sure I never took it.

Prilosec- Now this is the one I love. It completly takes away my heartburn, no heartburn later no matter what I eat. My mom however can't take this one it doesn't help her as well as the protonix.

Conclusion?

I guess it depends on the amount of acid reflux you have, your body, body chemistry, etc on which medicine works best for you.

Green Hornet

So has everyone seen the Green Hornet movie? I mean I like super hero movies and comic books turned into movies. But this movie, was waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy awesome! I don't know what it was that was different than the others, they are all good. But I just loved this one sooooooooo much! I can't believe how amazing this movie is, it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Green Hornet 2 were are you?

How, How, How do you do it?

So this week has been horrible for me. I have had charlie horses all week long. I get them sometimes. And on top of that I have been feeling burdened down by the couponing. It's really starting to get to me. I mean, I think it's good if you can figure out how to do it and save money. But, when you spend hours trying to figure out how to save money on something you may or may not like or want to use, just to make it cheaper, it's gets frustrating. I am trying to take a break, not spend so much time on it, because it is really affecting me. I don't feel good at all. The charlie horses, and I feel really tired like I'm being drained of all my energy by the evil coupons. I know that sounds a bit far out. It is, but that's how I feel. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of figuring the crap out. How do people do it? HOW????????????????????????????? Anyways, I need a break, so coupons break for now, I must spend less time on you for my sake!

My Couponing Habits!!

So here are some things I do while couponing.

~Every Sunday, (My body willing) I go to Walgreens, buy at least 2 papers if not more and grab the newest weekly ad. I then buy what things I've come prepared to buy that day. Then go to Target grab their newest weekly ad and buy what things I have prepared to get there.

~I research online, There are a lot of couponing blogs out there. So I go to my favorite ones and look at them throughout the week to see new deals.

~Sunday afternoon/night when I cutting out the new coupons and putting them in my coupon book (which won't even shut now cause it's overflowing with coupons!)

~I think of more ways to get coupons, like other people will give me their coupon inserts from their Sunday papers, I will print some coupons out online, I will go to different brands website and request coupons, signup for freebies, etc.

~Every night I think about different ways to save, I look through the coupons I have, the new weekly ad's I have and try to think how I can get something so cheap or even free!! For me it takes a lot of brain power, cause I was never good in math, and trying to figure all that up is challenging. Not to mention when I don't feel good (which is everyday) I just do the best I can and try to get what I can done on my couponing research and then when I find great deals I go to the stores and get them.

Her Faith Is Strong

Tiring was these times for her yet she continued on her way.

Restless were the nights she saw the demons fighting her each day.

Painful were the thorns in her side as she wrestled every day.

Yet she carried on, being, believing in God, keeping high her faith.

While others laughed and mocked the way she was.

She knew that there would be better days.

Every curse they snare upon her, she rebuked it and went on her way.

Strong she was inside of her, yet weak her body she lay.

Even though the disease was affecting her.

She continued on her way.

Knowing that God, was good and faithful, never leaving her side.

Knowing that a crown he'd put on her when her race of life was run.

When others betrayed her, God soon became her best friend.

While demons attacked her, God gave peace to her in these times.

When the hours were long and the pain was too much, God soon made a way for her.

When everything comes crumbing down before her, she holds fast to God faithful hand.

Today, I realized that I could go to Walgreens and get some good deals, so I did. Every time I want to lay down and quit couponing I keep thinking of times we didn't have enough to eat, so no matter how I feel I must go on. So I got these at Walgreens today.

The boxes were 5 for $5.00 The lunchables were 2 for $3.00 I did several different transaction.

Transaction 1:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 2:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 3:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 4:

3 Boxes of Hamburger Helper

2 Boxes of Potatoes

used 75 cents off 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper coupon, and the 3 $3.00 Registar Reward paid $1.51

All together I only spent $4.99 for 6 boxes of Lunchables, 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper, and 2 boxes of Potatoes.

Pushed

I think I have pushed myself too far the past few days with the couponing. I find myself spending hours on it and I am suffering now because of it. See my body sort of shuts down when I do too much or push myself too much, it's all apart of the Porphyria. The rare genetic blood disease I have. Right now my side hurts, like EXTREME pain hurts. But it's done this before, so I'm not rushing to the ER just yet. If it doesn't go away in a day or so (which it will) then I'll get worried.

I get so tired of being sick. Most people don't understand it. They think there's nothing wrong with me, Oh you look fine they say. But how I look and how I feel are two totally different things. I get tired of being in pain every day, and tired of dealing with extreme pain when it comes. But I know God is good and he has healed me and helped me along the way. I can only pray that God would either cure me completely or the doctors will find a cure for this.

In the meantime I am living from prayer to prayer. And from day to day. Just trying to get through it all without passing out on the floor. I hear the pain pill calling my name, so while I go take that all you doctors out there, PLEASE find a cure!!!!!!

So here are the deals for today. First let me say I am EXHAUSTED!! I know that sounds crazy to some people who love to shop. I don't really love to shop, I do it because I feel like we will run out of things or starve if I don't shop with coupons. That being said my stupid diease is acting up. I just don't feel good today, I am going to lay down after this post. I feel so faint and sick to my stomach, but on a worse scale than you could imagine if that makes any sense. Wilkson Sword Razor 97 cents, had $1.00 coupon, FREE plus 3 cent overage!!!

Sunggle Dryer Sheets $1.87 had $1.00 coupon, paid 87 cents!!!!

Target:

Special K Bars $2.75, had $1.00 coupon paid $1.75

Ponds Face Cleansing Sheets $4.49, had one Target $1.50 coupon, and one manufacturer $1.50 coupon paid, $1.49!!!

Walgreens:

Sally Hansen Polish $1.09 had $1.00 coupon, paid 9 cents!!

JMS Hose, on clearance for 82 cents!!! Again gave to my mom.

Revlon Face Illuminator $3.29 on sale, had $2.00 coupon, paid $1.29!!!
