One Instant Driver

Driving my parent's car down the road not realizing my surroundings
In that one instant that I blinked a collision and I crash into another car's rear end
My parent's car is totaled and the front end heavily smashed in
Air bags come bursting forth out from no where and I black out and am in total darkness
In that one instant I could have lost my life due to just one moment of looking down
Once again God took piety on me and allowed me to survive what could have been a fatal mistake
I awoke to the falling debris of the airbags stuffing
Slightly confused, shock, and a wreck, I stupidly declined an ambulance
My parents come and get me upset the car is totaled, but more happy that I'm living
That whole week following the wreck I barely remember like a hazy mess
I slept and slept for I could not awake, my head throbbed and all I could contemplate
Was the bobbing of my head back and forth in the car before I blacked out
Sunday I try to stay awake in church, but somethings wrong I can feel it
It feels like my head is spinning in a hundred different directions
Loosing sense to what I hear and see I know I must take a trip to the emergency
There the doctors look at me and say you have a concussion
So hazy and so confused, x-rays, cat scans show nothing unusual
So to physical therapy I go a little relief but doesn't show
That one instant that I blinked while driving cost me countless hours of sleep
Cost me to have worse migraines than before
Cost me to suffer forever head and neck pain
A pillow so soft to some is like a brick to me
It throbs and feels all sorts of unpleasant things
Three or four years ago this was and like I should have been so careful now I warn you
Pay attention to the road, for you never know what lies farther down the road
If you blink for an instant you could pay with your life or pain forever
I was already sick due to a rare genetic blood disease and now I've added to my pain so stupidly of me
Sometimes we don't think ahead and end up worse than before we started.

The Whole Duty Of Man

Ecclesiastes Chapter 12: 13

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

I've been reading in Ecclesiastes lately and I have to admit I love this book! How in depth he was and in chapter 12:8 it says: Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

I love this, he's always talking about vanity and evil under the sun. While some people may avoid Ecclesiastes because they don't understand it. I totally get it. It's one of my favorite books in the bible. Ecclesiastes is genesis! It puts things into prospective in our lives. Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity. How deep and meaningful that is to me! No matter what we work and accomplish here on earth if it is not for God it is vanity and meaningless! Our hearts, our souls, our spirits must be so in tuned with God that our hands do no evil, our hearts turn not from God, our mind is constantly filled with good thoughts of God. These is what is right. Filling ourselves with worldly lusts and desires will get us nowhere. Having dreams that fulfill our meaningless goals in life is all vanity and a waste, evil under the sun as he says in this book. Life without God is simply not an option for me. And it shouldn't be for each and every one of you. Life with God is so much better! Even though were humans and have problems in life, God is good and always there to help us even if it's in ways we do not understand. Roads we take may be hard, but it may improve our character so that God is polishing the diamond to make it shine brighter than ever before. Maybe the wrong turn you made wasn't God's will, it was just apart of life's circle and God take that and turns it into something wonderful! I love when God performs miracles, I love it when he baffles the medical field, when doctors can't explain what happened to me or anyone who's ever been sick and gotten a negitive test result back and then miraclousy that problem was gone, just like that. When God reaches down and touches our body, I can still feel his hands as he turned my insides around that night I was prayed for and got healed! I may have sickness, and I may even die again and not return back to life, because God did not promise any of us forever here on earth, he did promise us forever in eternity in Heaven with him if we give our hearts and lives to him. If we do that everything will work out.

Back to the first verse Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. I can't believe I've never gotten it before. I know that I was saved many years ago, my heart has always been pure and I have always loved the Lord, but I thought I had to do all these things for God, I thought I had to single handedly change the world and point them to God. For years I wanted to become a famous singer and or writer (I still do, it's my passion- besides God of course!) But it was never for my benefit. Sure it would be cool to be famous and all, but that's not what I'm after, I'm not in it for me, I'm in it for God. I want to go to Hollywood and stand up tall and point to the cross of Christ. I want the world to see this God I know and love and see what he's done for me and through me and somehow change people's lives for the better, I want to point people to Christ. Not shine in my own light, but make God shine through me. This is something that people did not get from me for years. They wondered why I was so obsessed with becoming famous, it wasn't for me, it was for God. I felt that if I could stand tall for all the world to see, that I could change the world and point people to Christ. I see that in this verse it says to Fear God and keep his commandments that is the whole duty of man. Fear which may mean to reverence the Lord, which I do and keep his commandments which I try to do to the best of my ability, that's it. Living for God is so simple and for years I thought I had to turn over cities just to be good enough for God. But all I had to do was to be myself and let my true light shine in me and God can work through that.

Since I'm allergic to peppermint and ginger, whether or not that is acutally in the gingerbread latte I don't know, but I will be getting the Caramel Brulee Latte!

Couponing 101: Let's Talk Free

Things you can get free or get paid to take out of the store!

Walmart:

This past week Walmart had $6.00 off one Nature Made Vitamin coupons laying around in the vitamin section. I got four one day and then came back several days later and found there were still lots of coupons laying around. So I thought if no one else will use them I will! If you find these coupons at your local Walmart you can get free Nature Made Vitamins or get them cheep or get paid to take them out of the store and yes Walmart will give you money back with coupon overage!

The cheapest are the magnesium and vitamin D. The magnesium was $3.24 and the vitamin D was $3.97.

So here's what I got.

First I got these:

Multi Vitamin For Her $6.94 using a $6.00 off coupon it leaves 94 cents plus tax.

Vitamin C $7.72 using a $6.00 off coupon it leaves $1.72 plus tax.

Magnesium being $3.24 using a $6.00 off coupon they give you back around $2.76 minus taxes

D being $3.97 using a $6.00 off coupon they give you back around $2.03 minus taxes.

I got about 7 or 8 magnesium all together and 2 vitamin d's, 2 multi vitamins for her, 1 vitamin c, and used some of the extra overage on Spring Valley Evening Primrose Oil Vitamin which I take for menstrual problems. So not only did it pay for my vitamins, plus give me lots of extras, I got free Evening Primrose Oil!

Also at Walmart are the Schick ST2 razors 10 or 12 pack for $1.97. There was a $2.00 off one or $4.00 off two coupon in past Sunday inserts. Which I used, then when you open the razor bag there is a $3.00 off coupon on the same razor, so you can take that coupon and go back and buy more plus get overage toward other things!

Walgreens:

Vick's Vapo Cough Drops 99 cents each or 2 for $1.79 using $1.00 off coupon from not only this past Sunday inserts but even prior Sunday inserts I have managed to get about 9 boxes totally free! Including taxes! Because of the 2 for $1.79 I got that 21 cent overage that went to the rest of my purchase. Now it depends at Walgreens how your deal will go. Sometimes they will adjust the coupon down to the retail price 99 cents each or whatever it comes out to be and other times they will just scan the coupon as is. Just depends who you get checking you out!

Carmex travel size lotions are 99 cents. This past Sunday inserts had $1.00 off coupons for those, so you can get those free as well, there are no excluding trial or travel sizes limitations on these coupons.

This past week I found some Maybelline lip glosses on sale 2 for $3.50 or $1.99 each. Using $2.00 off coupon from past Sunday inserts I got them free plus 51 cents overage on the three I could find.

They also have Trident gum on sale for 69 cents each. Using $1.00 off 3 from past Sunday inserts makes 3 packs $1.17 with tax! (Tax may vary)

Last week they had the Bayer Aspirin low dose 81 mg on sale for 99 cents, using $1.00 off coupon from past Sunday inserts it makes this free!

Theramax Cold Flu Nasal spray $7.99 and was given back $8 RR to use on next purchase making the nasal spray eventually free!
