Oh Wow Coupons Laws?

Ok, so I was just going about my business checking different coupon blogs, etc. And I come across this article. I never buy coupons cause I always thought that sounded a little fishy myself, but it talks about that and other coupon practices that people do that could be illegal. Some of this I just didn't know what to think about it. I mean you get a coupon, go to the store, do your best to get that item the coupons says it's good for, and the store takes it and you don't give it a second thought until you come across an article like this and start to think, I hope I done everything right so far. I mean I never tried to use coupons for the wrong products. It kind of makes you wonder whats right and whats wrong. I mean I never thought they would put out a reality show like TLC'S Extreme Couponing and have people on there doing things with coupons that are not right? Why would people do that on public tv just to be caught? I really don't understand this at all.
