Deals For Today!

Today, I realized that I could go to Walgreens and get some good deals, so I did. Every time I want to lay down and quit couponing I keep thinking of times we didn't have enough to eat, so no matter how I feel I must go on. So I got these at Walgreens today.

3 Boxes of Hamburger Helper

2 Boxes of Potatoes

The boxes were 5 for $5.00 The lunchables were 2 for $3.00 I did several different transaction.

Transaction 1:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 2:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 3:

2 Lunchables had 2 $1.00 off coupons to use paid $1.16, got $1.00 Registar Reward

Transaction 4:

3 Boxes of Hamburger Helper

2 Boxes of Potatoes

used 75 cents off 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper coupon, and the 3 $3.00 Registar Reward paid $1.51

All together I only spent $4.99 for 6 boxes of Lunchables, 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper, and 2 boxes of Potatoes.

Pushed

I think I have pushed myself too far the past few days with the couponing. I find myself spending hours on it and I am suffering now because of it. See my body sort of shuts down when I do too much or push myself too much, it's all apart of the Porphyria. The rare genetic blood disease I have. Right now my side hurts, like EXTREME pain hurts. But it's done this before, so I'm not rushing to the ER just yet. If it doesn't go away in a day or so (which it will) then I'll get worried.

I get so tired of being sick. Most people don't understand it. They think there's nothing wrong with me, Oh you look fine they say. But how I look and how I feel are two totally different things. I get tired of being in pain every day, and tired of dealing with extreme pain when it comes. But I know God is good and he has healed me and helped me along the way. I can only pray that God would either cure me completely or the doctors will find a cure for this.

In the meantime I am living from prayer to prayer. And from day to day. Just trying to get through it all without passing out on the floor. I hear the pain pill calling my name, so while I go take that all you doctors out there, PLEASE find a cure!!!!!!

Deals For Today!

So here are the deals for today. First let me say I am EXHAUSTED!! I know that sounds crazy to some people who love to shop. I don't really love to shop, I do it because I feel like we will run out of things or starve if I don't shop with coupons. That being said my stupid diease is acting up. I just don't feel good today, I am going to lay down after this post. I feel so faint and sick to my stomach, but on a worse scale than you could imagine if that makes any sense. I feel like I'm ready for the ambulance to come and carry away to the ER. I know that's a bit drastic, but that's how bad I feel right now, this disease is just trying and annoying. So anyways my deals for today.

Walmart:

JMS Tank, $5.00 had $5.00 coupon FREE!! Gave to my mom cause it would be way to big on me.

Noxema Razor, they finally had these back in stock at my walmart $2.67, had $2.00 coupon paid 67 cents.

Wilkson Sword Razor 97 cents, had $1.00 coupon, FREE plus 3 cent overage!!!

Sunggle Dryer Sheets $1.87 had $1.00 coupon, paid 87 cents!!!!

Target:

Special K Bars $2.75, had $1.00 coupon paid $1.75

Ponds Face Cleansing Sheets $4.49, had one Target $1.50 coupon, and one manufacturer $1.50 coupon paid, $1.49!!!

Walgreens:

Sally Hansen Polish $1.09 had $1.00 coupon, paid 9 cents!!

JMS Hose, on clearance for 82 cents!!! Again gave to my mom.

Revlon Face Illuminator $3.29 on sale, had $2.00 coupon, paid $1.29!!!

Now the bed calls my name!!!!

Blessed

I feel so blessed lately. I know God is always doing good things. But lately I feel even more blessed. It has to do with the couponing and so here's my coupon story and you'll understand why I feel blessed with it.

My coupon story

While I don't have stockpiles of stuff laying around. I have just started couponing and it has really helped out my family. See we don't always have money to spend on groceries, and there's not always enough to eat. And I can say that I know what hunger is, or at least I've had the taste of it. See I have a rare genetic blood disease as I have talked about a lot throughout my blog, and it requires me to eat regulary. So when I don't have enough food I get 10 times sicker than normal. And it has been awful, I got to the point where I was tired of not having enough and I didn't know what to do. I prayed and asked God to help us and I believe he sent TLC'S Extreme Couponing into my life for a reason. I just started watching the show lately and it has helped me realize that I too can coupon and have food. Enough so I don't get sick just because I haven't had enough to eat. Maybe some people can live on 1 meal a day, but I can't. Not without consequences. My father could tell you even worse hunger stories, he was very poor growing up and has gone a lot without food when he was younger, so he knows more about hunger than I do. But I've had my taste of it, and I can say it's not pretty. I'm just going to leave it at that. So I've been couponing and it has paid off. I now have more cereal than I need. Enough so I won't starve for breakfast anytime soon. We have several bags of Rold Gold Pretzels now because of the Pretzels deals going on and the coupons I have for them. And of course all the other stuff I've shown on here. And it's also let me buy more of other stuff like Milk and Water, stuff that I don't have coupons for but we need. So I feel very blessed right now. And I just thank God for helping me out of the state of hunger, cause without him I'd be very sick by now. Thank you Jesus for helping me out!

New Deals I Scored!!

So today I went to several different stores. I don't have a store in my area that has the customer loyalty cards, so I end up going to different stores to save on money. So I went to Walgreens, Target, and Walmart. Here's what I got.

Walgreens:

2 Purpose Cleansers bogo half off plus I had 2 $2.00 off coupons so I ended up getting one for free and a dollar off the other. Since my walgreens has them for $5.99 each I only paid $4.99 for 2.

Wonka Easter Egg, I almost didn't see this, it was stuck with some other odd and ends stuff on sale, and it was only $1.17 Yeah!!

Walmart:

2 Hormel Kids Complete Meals, I had 2 $1.00 off coupons so I paid 68 cents for each of them.

Target:

The best deals I got at Target, the cashier even said that's impressive when I checked out, I'm so proud, my couponing is starting to pay off! Whoo Hoooo!!!

2 Trial sizes of Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste Had 2 $1.00 off coupons, since they were 97 cents each I got them for free, and the cashier didn't adjust the price down to the 97 cents, so I got the 3 cents overage on each of them!!!!

Sally Hansen Clear Top Coat Polish had 2 $1.00 off coupons, one Target, one Manufactors, so I only paid 98 cents.

Zantac 24 count, I had 2 coupons one Target coupon for $2.00 off, then I had a Manufactors for $5.00 off so I only paid 40 cents. (I normally use Prilosec, but 40 cents to pay isn't a bad deal at all!!!)

Then on the clearance side I found these awesome deals!

I bought 2 Betty Crocker Scooby Doo Fruit Snacks for 44 cents each, they were on sale for that.

I found a 360 degree Colgate toothbrush on sale for $2.44 I had a $1.00 off coupon so I only had to pay $1.44 and it came with a bonus trial size toothpaste!!

I found a burts bees lotion on sale for $3.48 I had a $1.00 off coupon so I paid $2.48 and it also came with a bonus trial sized toothpaste!!

Great deals!! I am slowly but surely working up to extreme couponing like they do on TLC!!!! Thanks all!

My artwork is very abstract. For some reason I can't get it to look realistic. When I draw it looks more realistic, but not when I paint, and paining is more fun!!

I know, I know my wonder woman needs help. LOL.

Walmart Deals This Week!

So I went to Walmart and here are some of the deals I got.

$2.00 off 2 bags of pretzels so I paid full price for one and got one bag for like $0.98

$1.00 of 1 ivory soap so I got 2 bars and got both free +0.03 overage

$3.00 of 1 nivea shower gel I got free

$1.25 off 1 digorna pizza + hot wings I paid $5.25, yeah not the best deal, but every cent counts, I guess.

$1.00 off 1 kraft homestyle mac and cheese bag I paid only $1.00

$1.00 off 1 kids complete meals I paid like 0.68 cents

$1.00 off 1 welch's juice estentials drink I paid like $1.68 or whatever the amount of cents it was. I can't remember now. LOL.

So I saved a little over $11. Not bad, I glad about the ivory soap and nivea shower gel I got all free! And the kids complete meals I paid less than $1.00 for!
